Yesterday, I had the following exchange with friends on Facebook:
ME: After two winters of folks in Georgia blaming me for bringing the snow with me, it sure is nice to finally get one of these mild winters I heard so much about before moving down here. 50s and 60s for the month of February? Yes, please.
D: Until next week. I hear 20s… Maybe that’s just lows. But still.
ME: It’s supposed to dip down in the 20s Saturday and Sunday nights, but it’ll still be 40s during those two days. It goes back up to 50s then 60s starting on Monday. Not bad for winter, if you ask me.
D: Yeah.
G: Yeah it has been a mild winter but don’t count it out it could still get bad! As they say about Ga weather” if you don’t like it stay a day or two it will change! ” So you never know what we will get !
D: Especially since the month it snows the most is March.
ME: I’m pretty sure everywhere uses that saying. haha I know we used it in VA, and it was true there, too.
The farmer’s almanac has been right so far this winter, so I see no reason to go against what it says. So, in a nutshell, I won’t let you two rain on my parade. Thanks for trying, though!
Now, let me say I had just looked at the forecast before making my original post. I’m no fool. Today, however, Guitar Dude sends me a message that there is SNOW in the forecast tomorrow. Not that I don’t believe him, but I, of course, go check the forecast for myself because I don’t believe him, and BAM! There is snow in the forecast for not just tomorrow but TWO of the next 10 days.
Apparently Mother Nature doesn’t like braggarts. Ol’ hussy.

Yeah it’s suppose to be a chances of flurries and cold this weekend. Then they say it could be back into the 70 by Wed. and possible thunderstorm. See prefect example of my original statement. LOL! Of courses Im sure it could be true for any place you live. It just seems like Ga is Worse than most states! Also I feel privileged to have be mentioned in your blog! Have a great day.
